Cluster

EXTEND has formed a cluster with the projects SCUBE-ICT and ISTOK-SOYUZ since all these support actions addressing the Eastern Europe and Central Asia countries although with some differentiation in the main targets. The three projects are members of the EECA Cluster on ICT.


     EECA Gateway

EU-Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA) Gateway on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) research and development aims to promote cooperation between research and industrial communities of the EECA region by providing information about three European Union (EU) funded projects whose goal is to boost strategic partnerships between ICT actors.

 

  SCUBE-ICT

EU, Belarus and Ukraine face common Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) research and development (R&D) opportunities and challenges that create a favourable environment for strategic collaboration. The main aim of SCUBE-ICT is to boost strategic partnerships between ICT researchers and industrial actors from the three regions.

 

   ISTOK-SOYUZ

The ISTOK-SOYUZ project, based on the sound outcomes and lessons learnt of the ISTOK.Ru project mplemented in Russia in 2006-2008, will expand the ISTOK experience to the Eastern Europe & Central Asia countries, identifying and promoting visibility of mutual RTD potential and collaboration opportunities.
